MYANMAR - MISSION ON INLAND AQUACULTURE AND FISHERIES

Myanmar has impressive freshwater capture fisheries. The inland waters are made up mainly of the interlocking/ mingling of riverine and estuarine systems of the Ayeyarwaddy (Irrawaddy, 2 150 km long), Chindwin (844 km; a tributary of the main Ayeyarwaddy) and Sittaung (563 km) rivers, plus the large Thalwin River (2 400 km) to the east.

About the venue – Myanmar Convention Center (MCC) is located in Min Dhama Street, Mayangon Township, Yangon, Myanmar. The venue is the most modern   hall in Yangon which provides huge space for events, trade fairs and outdoor activities. Its best facilities will be a great support to the display of all products as well as the high class images of companies in aquaculture and fishery, livestock industry. MCC has two seminar rooms which are equipped to meet the international standard.
